Custom Made PLates

Because each RV has different slide configurations, it is nearly impossible to offer a click and buy solution to our customers. In fact most of our plates are custom made specifically for your coach. When you are ready to order, we ask that you contact us to learn how to measure. Our staff is highly experienced in working with RV OWNERS- working promptly to assist each customer in taking proper measurements of their coach to ensure the perfect fit. Once measurements are confirmed,  estimates are provided.  Once we receive the “go ahead” from our customers, your order will move into production immediately.  

Important Notice

We have been informed by our stainless steel supplier that our cost for stainless steel has increased by  35 %. It is the single largest increase we have experienced in the history of our company.

Talin is proud to announce that we now offer Guardian Plate systems for all RV’s including motor coaches, 5th wheels and towables. We are pleased to mention a design change in our Plates.  The side plate facing is now 2 inches instead of the previous 1 1/2 inches. This change was made to accommodate the slide structure commonly found on gas motor homes as well as towables. You can read more about this change here in our latest press statement.

Guardian Plate Sets

Model 300 RF

The series 300 plate is the same as the 600 RF  with the exception of the bottom of the plate which extends 3 inches under the slide floor. This plate is designed for those customers who have early slide floor separation as well as minimal slide floor rot on rear slides. The series 300 plate measures 2 inches on the sidewall surface and extends 3 inches under the slide floor so as not to interfere with roller assemblies. This plate is sometimes used in conjunction with a 1200 series CRP ( custom roller plate ) plate, depending on slide roller assembly locations.  All plates are custom cut to the customer’s individual slide depth. This plate is designed for raised floor slides only.

Model 600 RF

The series 600 plate is the same as the 300 RF  with the exception of the bottom of the plate which extends 5 inches under the slide floor. This plate is designed for those customers who have slide floor separation and rot as well as roller assembly damage on galley and rear slides. The series 600 plate measures 2 inches on the side surface and extends 5 inches under the slide floor. This plate is sometimes used in conjunction with a 1200 series CRP plate, depending on slide roller assembly location.  All plates are custom cut to the customer’s individual slide depth. This plate is designed for raised floor slides only.

Model 1200 RF

The 1200 series RF are specialized plates made for raised floor slides. These plates measure 2 inches on the side and extend 12 inches under the slide floor. The 1200 series RF plates have  custom relief cuts so as to extend the bottom plate past the rain gutter found behind the wiper seals. This plate is used when roller assemblies are placed near the edge or within 6 inches of the slide sidewall. Once installed the rollers will ride on this plate and in addition seal off the corners from water intrusion preventing slide floor rot.

Model 1200 FF

The 1200 series FF are specialized plates made specifically for flush floor slides. These plates measure 2 inches on the side and extend 12 inches under the slide floor. The 1200 series FF plates are CNC machined and have custom relief cut outs so as to extend the bottom plate past the rain gutters hidden behind the wiper seal. They also incorporate a relief cut to fit around the steel brace found on the bottom of the slide floor. This plate also has a precise 25 degree bend at the exact spot needed to work in conjunction with the flush floor slide preventing excessive glide bar wear.

CRP ‘s ( Custom Roller Plates )

                   Talin also makes specialized stainless steel plates called Custom Roller Plates. These plates are made to repair damaged laminate created by the rollers on the underside of the slide.  If you have excessive wear or damage to a slide floor from broken slide rollers or a deterioration of the slide floor bottom laminate then we can custom make stainless plates that are pre-drilled for you and ready to install. These plates come in kit form and are made of 18 GA 304 stainless creating strength and support for your slide bottom. Bare plates come in 12 inch widths which disperses weight and forces across a larger surface area. Because the plywood used on the underside of slide floors is typically only 3/8th’s thick, you need the extra wide 12 inch plates for weight disbursement and support. HEAVY DUTY 4 1/2″ grinder USED TO REMOVE TRIM PIECES LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM EDGE TRIM PIECES. THEY CAN ALSO BE USED TO MODIFY ANY OF OUR GUARDIAN PLATES IF THE NEED ARISES. THIS SAW ALSO COMES WITH 2 REPLACEMENT DISCS.
